    445nm 1.2 - 1.8 1st LASER - surefire 6p HOST

    I am going to build my 1st laser rather than purchasing it. I came across a Surefire 6p flashlight host in an old tool box. Would this make a sufficient host, for a 445nm 1.2-1.8 diode? I believe the power source is 3 -3volts. (I could be wrong..might be 2) See pic of host example. Thanks
