    Wanna make a burning laser

    Hi all. I just want to make a laser from my DVD harddisk, ASUS DVD-E616P3. I dunno whether the laser inside it can be used as a burning one... A laser (diode?) was taken apart from the hdd and the code tagged around the head of it was " SD134LD8A". I wonder what it stands for. Is there a diode...
