I've only had good dealings with DX they are just resellers you can't expect them to control cheap lasers they get which the manufacturer says it performs in a certain way but doesn't. They have always been helpful with defective products, although a bit slow. Shipping is free and the stuff is...

thanks for the tips guys. As far as a wood and brass tripod would be cool but it would need to be small and small means expensive so that is out for now. I would like to make a charging stand though in the future.

I'm thinking about changing the design of the optic assembly, instead of the head I have on it now I was thinking to embed the dx lens assembly inside the barrel and have a cutout so I can adjust the focus. What do you guys think? Keep the one i have now or embed the head in barrel with a cutout...
