OSRAM 450nm 50-80mw Blue Laser Diodes/Single Mode/PL-450 run it on less voltage, you will get 25mW...out of it at 35:dollars on eBay ie buy a different version of same diode ...theres not only two versions of a PL -450 diode as far as getting down to 5mW suppose its how low will it operate at...

Same could be said for an eBay pen at almost same power.strip it down gold plate it put GITD rings on it with a better looking clip.,but more power is needed to make it a deal maker.That's most expensive part uping the power on DPSS green ....by the time you add on the extras you need to make it...

Well laser beams are seen by astronauts in space in the space station coming up from earth, as far as outer space goes i assume there is space particles all around in outer space. I haven't done a Google for the answer but i would presume this ro be correct you can see laser beams in outer space.

There's a way to test for I R leak but you need red goggles and a Laser power meter, put red goggles in front of beam and let beam go through the red goggles onto the thermopile ie the power meters sensor the reading on the LPM will be the I R leak amount as the red goggles will block 99.9...

yes take batteries out except maybe the one or two your using that afternoon or evening etc i have no young children my wife now's about my lasers etc and i keep them in a safe place. But almost always take them out after a session of using them, the batteries also gradually go flat and then...
