    What OD for what mw?

Is there some sort of chart showing what OD rating you need in goggles to protect from the mw of a laser? So if you have N amount of mw, what Od do you need? Thanks

OD for a 22x DVD laser?

Ok, one more question... How come the faq says that OD 3+ is only good up to 125 mw? I am going to be using a 200 mw laser, so that makes it seem as if OD 2+ is extremely low for a 200mw laser. Would OD 4+ be what I need? How come these guys are saying that OD 2 is good enough when it's not even...

Do I need to use a driver?

I have a aixiz and a 22x LG dvd diode. Do I need to use a driver, or can I just hook it up to 2 AAs? If I need a driver, how do I get one? Thanks

OD for a 22x DVD laser?

And a DVD diode is only 200 mw, so only 2mw will be entering my eye if the laser hits the goggle. How long would it take for 2 mw to perminently hurt my eye?

OD for a 22x DVD laser?

Thanks- I am laser dumb though. Could you maybe explain it a little simpler? So those goggles won't block a dvd laser from blinding me?

OD for a 22x DVD laser?

I am probably gonna get the OEM laser goggles. But will the 2+ Od on the goggles protect my eyes from a 22x DVD laser in a aixiz housing? How effective will a 2 OD be at shielding my eyes completely? Thanks

    open can or closed can?

Whats the difference between these two ld's? Do they both fit in the Aixiz housing?
