theres SL-SD-3 adjustable (1.6-2.3A) driver with m140 diode... all the stuff is like a week old...

Couldn't be the problem discharged batteries? Or what do you think happened to my diode?

Today I measured the current of the driver... and with single 18650 it shows 100-160mA (laser works but very weak) and when I use 2x 16340 3V.. it only shows some numbers only for like a helf of a second and then 0.00A for the rest of time... when I disconnect the cable of the multimeter and...

I think diode is not dead because I tried 4x AA(1,5v) and the laser works but still weak but brighter than when I used single 18650. The 16340s 3V are bad I think because laser only flash when I use them.

When I turn it on it just flashes, turn off, turn on and flashes... Im using rechargeable 16340, Pyra 880mAh.

I dont think Ive killed the diode because when I use a single 18650 it works but weak... I think the 16340s could be the problem... They both were almost discharged...

aaaand if I dont use the resistor it will look like the first schematic or the second in the picture

if im gonna ajdust driver 1.6 - 2.3A to 1.8A can I use diodes rated at 3A?

Hello, I need help with my DIY test load.. Im going to use this schematic That Ive found in some another topic... I just dont know what diodes and resitor do I need to make it... I need to set the current at 1.8A for my m140 diode with SL-SD-3 driver.

I tried my 16340s and thats even more strange... When I use single 18650 its very weak but it works.. And when I use 2x 16340(Only 3V, dont have 3,7V 16340s) it just flashes and then turn off... Is this a battery problem? Or just voltage of the batteries?

Im gonna buy nitecore digicharger d4... I'd use the cheap charger only till I get the nitecore d4. It must be something wrong with the charger... Battery should be fine
