Hey all, I'm going to go ahead and pick up a 12x to add to the fray of testing but was wondering which drive I should go with. I know most of the testing appears to be done with Pioneer 12x diodes but has anyone pulled a Plextor 12x diode yet? I can get both drives for about the same.

I'm about to order three flex drives.... just got some request from some friends to build some lasers. Two will have a preset current of 350mA while the third will be 400mA. I don't think the order page lets me select multiple preset currents so I wil order the 400mA preset separately.

Double checked with Rossco about the module... he's positive it was an Aixiz since he's never purchased a Sure module. We both think it may be some bad threads in the module itself. Either way, I like it the way it is since I don't have to use a spring or tape.

Also, I would like to add that this diode appears to swing toward the <405nm range as the beam is visible even with lights on.
