Actually I DID read the whole post but I did it quickly and thought the host didn't have heatsink with it. (Now I clicked on the link and saw it)

Hey folks, as handheld lasers here in brazil cost a lot (even the cheap underspec penstyle ones) I decided to sell my old SDLaser 301 ( true 60mW Green + 20mW IR) from DX and managed to get $60. I wanted to know what should I do with these $60. (Laser related /No jokes please :D ) I don't know...

What I can say to help is: Take a look at my review in my signature. I'm very satisfied with the SDLaser and for pointing at stars it seems to be enough. In some units, the beam comes out not 100% straight, though. It wasn't my case. I really don't know why would you need the more expensive...

Hey guys, It's me again. I've just managed to sell my beloved SDLaser 301 (50mW) so I have the money to go for the "200mW" ones. What do you think? Should I risk? Is there any better laser I can get with U$60 ?

Great. I sincerely don't know what to expect. The 50mw version was very good for the price. It has an enormous quantity of IR, though. The question is: is it focusable?

I haven't seen any reviews of these yet. I only have experience with the 50mW model, which seems to be arround 80mW. The host is also great. SD-300 Host seems awesome, doesn't it?
