Thats what the diagram shows in the image I posted. I didn't add the switch in there though.

As the title said. But I noticed that there is no pot on my cheap $5-$10 dollar lasers. Is it still possible (more like, easy) to mod? Thanks in advance!

You know what.... I feel so dumb right this minute... Thats the reader like you said. I think I found the diode. It's pretty small and hiding in the plastic with a lens on the output side. It's hocked to a circuit board by three pins and on the circut board there is a pot. So this has to be it...

I took the diode out of an old cd player. Yeah... I know there pretty useless. But I still want to see if I can get it to power up. It has 10 pins, 5 on each side. Anyone know what the power and ground pins are? Thanks in advance.

I would be fine ordering a higher powered laser from nova? If you could get a price from him that would be nice. But I would probably rather have a new.

Yeah, I love the lyra. But don't know if shipping would go well. BTW: is that 30mW laser the same as the ones on DX that I cant buy (from them)? And I just contacted jack, so we will see what happens.
