Are you saying that the DX lasers may be a little more difficult to mod than others? Any idea if the ledshoppe 5mw might be better in this respect? Thanks again.

You mean "the right way up" don't you? You do know that the eye produces an upside down image on the retina to begin with? Obviously our brain flips it the right way round, so what we see is the right way up.

The 200 mW from Sky Lasers. I'm happy. I don't think I'd be able to build one with the same specs, even though it would be cheaper. As far as I can see, no one has even tested the o-like modules.

I got the reply I wanted. Divergence at minimum is <1.2 mrad, and beam is <2mm, which is not the best, but I think it'll be fine. Laser ordered :D
