    CNI 1W 447nm PGL-III-C

    How much did it cost?

could it be? is the o-like 445 finally here?

The glasses have always been 45.99. A friend of mine got these glasses and they seem to have difficulty blocking 405nm, which they are also rated for, so I'm wondering if these will be effective in blocking 445. Personally I would suggest these: 405nm,473nm,532nm laser safety goggles [OLGLG532]...

    o-like dichros - good deal?

I got these a while ago, they seem to combine colours quite nicely, maybe 5% is reflected with the green, about 1-2% with the red (on the red-green dichro). I would suggest these, they seem to do the job and don't fail the quality test. Sorry for the non-descriptive reply, but I would buy this...

    O-Like Now Stocking 445nm

"im wondering what kind of host they are gonna use for the portable one" I suggested to use the gatlin host, or something similar for use with an 18650, to O-like. They may follow through with this so you could expect a blue gatlin laser sometime in the future. AAlasers

    O-Like Now Stocking 445nm

My guess is that more 445 lasers, most likely portable, will be released soon. They said there would be more than one 445 laser by the end of next week. If they have only 4 units in stock, they're probably planning on releasing something else. AAlasers

    o-Like 200MW laser -- fraud?

I have the SDlaser301 or this laser: DealExtreme: $31.90 Focusable 50mW Green Laser Pointer with Safety Key Lock (1*18650 Included) , It outputs about 70mw and has 0.94 mrad when focused to infinity. When focused to burn at the closest distance from the laser aperture, it has 22-23 mrad. This...

Regulating current between driver and diode

Thanks for your replies, I was thinking that you couldn't adjust the current too often and since the pot is so small on the Microboost or flexdrive, It would be difficult to adjust. I was just wondering if it would work. I'm sorry I didn't use the search button, but there's just too much...

Regulating current between driver and diode

Hi everyone! I was wondering if it would be possible to regulate the amperage between the driver circuit and the diode. I was thinking of using a 100 ohm potentiometer between a microboost @ 1A and an A140 445nm laser diode. This setup would be used in a white fusion kit, to attain the perfect...

What current should I run my diode at?

Thanks for replying everyone! I went ahead and got the microboost with a preset current of 1000ma. I got this before I read the last two most recent replies. I should've waited longer and bought the microflex:banghead: , but the microboost will have to make do. Will it have overheating issues...

What current should I run my diode at?

Thanks for replying, I just have one more question, with the the Micro flex drive or the Microboost, how do I get the 4-4.3V output voltage that I need to run the A140 at such high currents? Will a standard 18650 work (L-ion)? AAlasers

What current should I run my diode at?

I was thinking of running max current with the microboost (1A), so hearing that the diode runs smoothly at this current, Ill probably shoot for that. What life time could I expect with 30 second @ 50% duty cycle running at 1.5A. Thanks for replying AAlasers

What current should I run my diode at?

I recently bought an A140 diode off Daguin, and there is so much confusing information that I don't know what current I should run the diode at. I want the diode to last a total of at least 200 hours, I was thinking of using a 30-60 second on time with a 50% duty cycle (30-60 seconds off)...

445 Group Buy a140 projector! $35 each! Now shipping Diodes!

Hi Pontiacg5, I am a new member to this forum, and haven't totally figured out this group buy thing. How do I send a payment to you if I want to get a diode? Also, count me in on the next group buy. For 2 diodes. Thanks, AAlasers

    Hi, from canada

Hello, I am Alex from Alberta, Canada. I have been a long time lurker of this forum and have finally decided to make an account. About a year ago, I became aware of lasers, and unsuccessfully attempted to build a red laser due to my lack of knowledge. From then until about 6 months ago, lasers...
