Hello Alphonsus Dokuro, welcome to LPF :) You can't modify your laser unless it has a pot, even then you would still risk killing your laser, I wouldn't recommend it. The labels on your lasers say 5mW and 10mW however they're probably more than that. When you get goggles, try your laser in...

If you feel like you're squinting or your eyes are straining, then your goggles probably aren't doing their job. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure in most cases it's absolutely fine to look at a laser beam.

Re: The event was in Turkey :) Idiot. Although it didn't look like he was shining it at the players, probably just into the sky? I wonder what the strength of the laser was, maybe the beam just looked stronger because of smoke from flares or something.
