    pre-order phr803  #5  sold out

Re: pre-order phr803 18$-ships anywhere #5 15 left But these are 'broken'? I'm still quite new to this, but if i get one in a aixiz module, i can use that to make a laser pointer or use it in an RGB scanner, right? I assume I would need some kind of controller PCB to get the most out of it...

    pre-order phr803  #5  sold out

Re: pre-order phr803 18$-ships anywhere #5 15 left What are the specs for these? Are they better / brighter than the diodes in the PS3, because I was thinking of getting those. Also, if I were to use one of these in a RGB setup, how much mW would the green and red need to be?

    RGB beam splitter

Any chance you can get these out of cheap old electronics (like a projector, as you said)? Never thought they would be so expensive :O

How come nobody has heard of a trichroic prism?

I found this on wikipedia when I was finding out ways to combine RGB into one beam, and thought it did exactly what I would need to make an RGB scanner... how come I can't find any anywhere on this forum, ebay, etc? All google finds is patents... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dichroic_prism

Re: Cheap but sturdy green laser, 30mW? 'moddable' Thanks. The seller also had a 100mW version, but it didn't look much brighter. The spot was brighter, but the beam didn't make much of a difference (at least to the naked eye without actually comparing the two at the same time). How can I test...

Cheap but sturdy green laser, 30mW? 'moddable'?

Hi everyone. I bought this laser yesterday in a store selling all sorts of lights, led stuff and a few lasers. Even in the light or partial shade you can see the beam, in the dark it's really awesome. It was sold to me as 30mW, but considering even the 15mW one from WL can burn through stuff...
