As for the quality of the Ray Foss lasers, My 50mW stable @66mW is about as good as quality as it comes even compared to a CNI laser (but till I have cni in my hands thats all I can say)... The FLX is solid, the beam is straight as straight can be... The focus ring is nice and snug and easy to...

Yes its a green, One would think that blue, green pens of the same build would have the pot in the same place. But hey, ima no0b and I'm totally open to take in as much info as I can :o

I was able to access the potentiometer with out taking the pen apart. If you have a dremel and a can of compressed air it's easy. locate the spot and drill, use the air to blow out any metal fragments and use a tiny precision screw driver to adjust the pot. I didn't turn the power down but...

$23 dollars was the shipping cost to me from RF in China for 3-5 day... 9 dollars was the air cost using Canada post to return the item 6-10 day for warranty and its Insured also for that price.

I'm not to sure about that, I just sent a RF laser back last week from Canada and for 6-10 day delivery it cost me less then 10 dollars. Ray Foss sent me a laser out 3-5 day ups and Tracking for 23 usd.... and thats from the same country as CNI

I have the Led Shoppe green 50mW pointer, it looks the same... can I bump the power a tad on this one as well? This laser has worked flawless for 2 weeks now so Im thinking it should handle a slight pot adjustment... :thinking:

No the dot stays the same diameter, it's just the light out-put dims and fluctuates dim to bright..... what does that mean?

I'm sending the unit back, it started to drop in intensity and fluctuate bright dim bright dim. What causes that? bad driver? But any way Fayona is great to deal with :D

well the beam is straight from the out-put coupler when I unscrew the lens cap. It's just the beam is not shooting straight out of the lens cap when I screw it back on.....It's not the lens directing the beam thats the problem, it's just the position they drilled out to press the laser into...
