I'd be interested in using this diode if it will cut 22 guage sheet metal. It would be great for making light fixtures and decorative light shades. If anyone can cobble up a cnc. Or retro fit a crossbow style plasma cnc

What is the cutting swath? I need about a millimeter or 1/16 or under 1/18. I want to cut, then fill the groove with paint, then sand. For metal, I want to make pierced lamp shade for example an exit sign with LED back lighting.

This could change the portable cnc. If it cuts thin metals, this would have a great application.
