Moisture inside aixiz glass - Help!

I was doing some close burning with my 445 when I realized thet the lens got dirty (probably from smoke). I tried to clean it, unfortunelly, some cleaning fluid got inside it. :yabbem: What do you think? Should I left it and let it dry, dissasemble it and try to clean or just throw it away and...

    SolarForce L2P, L2X, L2 etc. heatsink drawing

I designed this heatsink for my last build, 445nm Solarforce L2X. It works great, fits tight and was cheap. I'm not an engineer but man who machined it had no problems with my design. I thought someone will make use of drawing and machine own heatsink. So here you are

    Review: ~100mw 532nm labby w/ fan & TEC!

I bought this labby with intent to use it in projector. It was a very good deal as it cost me just ~60$! Because of fan and tec it's capable of 100% duty cycle. After few hours of usage it isn't even warm. Laser was available in two versions - 12v and 5v. Both have same driver, only fan is...

ESD - how sensitive LDs are?

Hi! I'm starting my first "real" build. I just got the 445 diode and I'm scared about esd. How sensitive they really are? Have you ever seen any LD hurt by esd? I am going to handle it with grounded esd wristband and keep it in esd bag when not used. Is it enough?

Looking for a stcs2 based driver schematic

Hi! I'm going to build stcs2 based driver for 445nm. I choosed it because it has low vdrop - I'm going to power it from 2x li-ion. I found schematic in datasheet: I think it's suitable for laser diodes, isn't it? I want to make the circuit as simple as possible, without pcb. Are Rin, Cbyp and...
