my thing is I make things from scratch, I read that the flexdrive was a better driver than the LM317, and I wanted to see if it would be possible to build one myself. I guess I didn't go about asking the right way.

I'm new here, so if this is in the wrong place, please let me know. I am currently trying to build a laser, and I have the schematic for the LM317 driver, however, I am looking for schematics for other deivers and i cannot find any. Can anyone help me out? Tnaks!
