Getting there. It is for sure brighter.

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Oh yea that is the plan the trees terminate and they start out above eye level. I did not trust the power the way they came last year so that is already how they are set up. I measured the board driving the diodes and the 650-660nm diode is getting a little over 160mA and the green around 360mA...

^^Paul, 7675 should have landed yesterday. Let me know if you got it. Tore apart one of these star show yard lights for a bit of a upgrade. Pretty simple takes 12mm modules with a clamp design to secure the lasers and has a 5V power source so several units I will try 490nm Sharp, PL520, PLT5...

Any LED flashlight style (center positive) 16.8mm boost laser driver?

I only stocked the case neutral ones. Avoided the others.;)

    Searching for a 100/200mW 520nm diode

The PLP's are no longer in production which is unfortunate as they were the ones I liked the best. They were replaced with the PLT5 variants which add a photodiode. These are all the models. The PLP's were multimode but nothing like kinds of multimode diodes out there. They had the best power in...

Any LED flashlight style (center positive) 16.8mm boost laser driver?

Funny just saw this as I during my reorganizing I found a little bag with some units I had not seen in a long time. I think the first one is one of the early versions of the X-Boost but have to confirm. Found a round and rectangular SXB. I think the rectangular was one of the first he made sent...

FS: Jet Lasers PLe Pro 3.5w 465nm

Gary must have been on the ball with taking care of it as I don't really remember that. I do still have the unit and last time I checked it was working strong. Must have been near 5 or more years ago.

Yep been a lot more time consuming to get my new helper up to speed than I thought. Had no idea how much stuff I take for granted knowing even the most simple stuff has a foundation of knowledge that I have to go back to and explain which is based on another foundation and so on. He picked up on...

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Yep will get them up on the lens page in the next day. I was also thinking it would be more of a alternative to the three/two element lenses as they have a very clean output and I assumed a similar power loss from clipping.

Yep it was an oversight when I built it originally and planned to change them out when I got a chance. I also have this coherent 210 sensor that has been sitting here. Here is what I was sent. EFL :8.0 CA:3.7 SD:5.86 NA:0.28 CT:2.9 ET:8 M:M8×P0.5 DIA:4.7 :) Not sure...

How to identify 520nm Diode with confusing labeling.

They do look pretty much identical. You can tell for sure two ways. The forward voltage is lower on the PL520B and the spot with a G-2 had a crazy line though it from a dye reflection on the PL520 that is not there on the PL520B. I have given up making any sense of the codes on the Osram diodes...

Yep it is a tight fit but I also have a small space to fall back into when I feel the walls closing in.:p Thanks really like the ultra wide screens, So easy to have all the windows up that I need to have quick access to at the same time instead of having them all stacked on top each...

    About the NUMG07E 465nm

Yea not much change till you start pushing it up around 4A or so where heat generation in the junction starts to build up near to where it can not be drawn away as fast as it is generated. On a side note as it is beginning to be a pet peeve of mine and to correct where I can bad info being...

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Yea I can't deal with the cludder of cords and the restriction of movement. Always thinking about which way I can turn and not snagging the cord as I go down the line of units. Anyway I have a new lens. Single element, 4.7mm, broadband coated and makes a very very clean output. Will Call it the...

DTR's Laser Shop - Laser Diodes & More

Yea I have been using them for years and love the freedom compared to a wired electric and I could not afford it if I forgot to charge a battery or ran out of juice during a long session. I can solder for a few hours at a time depending on the. I think what throws most off is the learning curve...

Paul let me know you got. Sent it over the weekend but did not hear back. Really was interested in any observations on the diode sourced though the gray market and the projector pull. Have a lot of organizing still to do but things are coming together. This desk is great. My last work surface...
