this is a point to debate for example they do more when it comes to beam correction etc. also i think its more of stay away from those people for example; swamidog is one of the most helpful people i have ever talked to infact he is a member here as well and makes amazing animations this is one...

honestly probably your torch. a laser for the most part is much more sensitive sure you can buy a water proof one but no laser is as durable to shock and in general as a quality light. but one seems like it would make a good signal.....

see this is the funny part if i had that 2500 I WOULD of spent it on lasers second does tools used for laser purchased for lasers count like soldering iron ETC? if so add a few hundred to mine :P
