All the cases I've been looking at today are under $40. What size batteries are they? You're probably undersupplying voltage, as most lasers take 3.7V Li-ion's.

I've looked at Pelican cases before, but I just can't seem to justify their price. As for your laser, you should try testing your batteries with a multimeter to help isolate the problem - just to make sure it's not a faulty power source.

My current setup is as such: I like aluminum, briefcase-style boxes. At my local Wal-Mart, they have some DVD album cases made out of aluminum, and they have a variety of dimensions, which is nice. I've also been checking out walmart.com and Amazon for some, too, and I found a couple that...

I'm itching to write a review for my laser. Everything in life seems more delightful as I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. I need to start shopping around for a bigger case for all my lasers, too. My current one is full.
