CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! I'd bit a lot more interested in getting an OSRAM 460nm pointer if it were a better price ($92 was a little steep in my opinion, and even $75 is pushing it a little). I hope Kevin has a special deal in store for us!

CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! Could you please replace the HL808 - 1000mW in my order for a HL650 - 300mW? Thanks! By the way, I think you have the prices/links for those two lasers mixed up in the OP.

CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! I don't get my next paycheck for another week and a half, so I would oppose to closing it early. I won't have enough money until then.

CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! It's not completely invisible to most people. If it's powerful enough, the red cones in your eyes will respond to the light, and your brain will mark it as a deep crimson. If you increase the wavelength to 980nm, you wouldn't be able to see it...

CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! I want it really bad, but I'm not sure if it'll fit in my budget (same with the 200mW 635nm).

CLOSED! Now Distributing ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Re: ROUND 2!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy! Count me in! Put me down for a 1000mW HL808 and a 300mW HL532. That would come to $217 + $33 shipping = $250. January 14th? That'll give me just enough time to save that much money. I might even add another laser to my order further down the...

    JETLASERS Does it again !!!

Good review, and I can't wait to see some pictures. What's up with the newlines everywhere throughout your text, though?

PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please 41,388 hours of runtime? There's the problem. That thing has been lasing for nearly five years straight! I wonder what sort of application requires a 325nm laser to be operating for that long. Edit: I took a...

    500mW 405nm HL405 from Skylaser [LaserBTB]

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I still haven't had the chance to test the draw... I'll be writing a review on the next laser I get from offroad's next groupbuy. I'm thinking/hoping it will be a 1W 808nm HL808.

    !CLOSED!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

I will regret it if I don't get a 1W HL808 this upcoming round... I've been needing one of these guys ever since my 400mW died. I need some goggles that I can trust, though, if I'm going to buy this sucker. Off to Survival Laser!

    500mW 405nm HL405 from Skylaser [LaserBTB]

As a small update, I looked closer at my laser, and I can confirm that it does not have a remote key switch. I still haven't had a chance to measure the draw, but I will this weekend. I also added a couple new paragraphs to the review: one with a description of the beam and one with a summary...

    500mW 405nm HL405 from Skylaser [LaserBTB]

Thanks for the feedback and rep, guys! I added a section near the end (right before the picture of the diffraction grating cap) all about the duty cycle and beam properties. I don't have a multimeter at my apartment right now, but I'll borrow my buddy's and test it when I go to his house in a...

    !CLOSED!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

I finally got around to writing my review of the 500mW HL405. You can take a look at it here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/500mw-405nm-hl405-skylaser-laserbtb-78727.html. I think I should take some more beamshots, though. Oh, and I'm really excited for the next groupbuy. 1000mW 808nm, here...

    500mW 405nm HL405 from Skylaser [LaserBTB]

This is a review of the 500mW HL405 (405nm) from Skylaser (also known as LaserBTB). I purchased this laser through the groupbuy put on by offroadfreak8582. Shipping: 8/10 Transporting a package from China takes a quite a bit of time with a budget carrier, but sometimes it takes longer than it...

10mW Blue Laser Pen - Where to buy?

It could very well be an LED, and I wish I had a bench PSU to better test it with. What should I be looking for to determine weather it's lasing or not?

10mW Blue Laser Pen - Where to buy?

It's still getting the correct Amperage, but only half the Voltage. I'll take a picture and/or video for you if you'd like. I haven't tested it that much, but it might just be an LED at that point. It does have a small dot that I can focus, though. Edit: I just tried this again, and as far as I...

10mW Blue Laser Pen - Where to buy?

For the most part, 405nm lasers will appear blue due to Bezold-Brücke shift. It's also a color that our eyes don't normally distinguish all the time, so at these high intensities, your brain will most likely mark it as a pale blue (as mine does). It's basically the color of a black light but...

10mW Blue Laser Pen - Where to buy?

It'll look like a keychain laser, but blue. My 1W 445nm will put out about 5mW if I cut the voltage in half. You'll need about 15mW of 445nm light to equal the brightness of a standard 5mW red pointer. Dot: (650nm 5mw) vs. (450nm 15mw)

    !CLOSED!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

Hopefully they could be less than $300... Maybe I have just a little too much hope? :can: I think another groupbuy after the holidays would be nice (and FedEx for sure!). That way, I/we can start saving up money now in order to get one of the bigger lasers. We would just need to make sure we...

10mW Blue Laser Pen - Where to buy?

Laserglow has a really nice ~10mW 447nm for sale. Low price? Not really. I've yet to see any low-powered blue lasers for less than the cost of a high-powered one. If anyone has found anything for a better price, I'd like to know about it. Z-Bolt has a 5mW 450nm for a relatively good price. It's...
