trinh hong phuoc: The crystal production for these lasers has had many setbacks. The only working modules anyone has gotten was the very first batch of maybe a dozen lasers. Given the previous delays there is no reason to believe they will find a working crystal design in the foreseeable future...

Sure. Just tested a few. Wavelengths that have three dots: 685nm, 660nm, 635nm, 532nm, 515nm, 502nm. Wavelengths that have five dots: 495nm, 475nm, 450nm, 405nm. At 515nm you get 4 dots if you hit the grating maybe 20 deg or more off of perpendicular. At 502nm you get 3 dots if perfectly...

So I guess I can actually sort of answer my own question in my last post. Freeman did say that they should have both 565nm and 575nm in the first batch (in an message last week). Granted, most speculation doesn't matter much as the "facts" will likely change as time progresses.

I would assume the first batch we get would be 575nm. But did Freeman, or anybody else, mention about if any of the first batch will be 565nm or if they will wait until a later time to make those? Although I guess at this point it matters very little as it doesn't feel like these will ever...
