I ordered 2 of the ~$4.80 ones and 2 of the ~$5.50 ones. I doubt there is anything different other than some random price; but it'll be interesting to compare side by side. Too bad I don't have a LPM; I'm curious what the output will be.

I could always use some sort of white or black film for the masks. Guess it doesn't have to be translucent. How do you think one of those 20 to 40 watt "bar diodes" would work? How difficult are they to set up? Or would a CO2 set up be better?
