    Security bit you mean?😏

    Looking for a 650nm diode

@Gryphon any update did you get the sharp diode?

    Easy LPM Calibration

Is a great choice but yet again I see claims from >90% to >98% on different sellers.

    Easy LPM Calibration

It should be enough distance if it is a gball diode. At least to get a 10mW reading accuracy? How would you go about this in optics wise beside the diodes difference?

    Easy LPM Calibration

Honestly I prefer to messure raw power of a diode with only exception being the glass window(or gball) in the TO package. Why? Well optics just add more to the complexity. You can buy a G2 rated at >95% transmission and a different seller can sell the same lens stating a >98% transmission. And...

    Laser diode driver

You'll need a heatsink regardless of output power electronics are very inefficient and all the wasted energy guess what it is Heat. Just the aixiz module/housing is already a heatsink so the correct question is how big of a heatsink you'll need and the answer is it depends on how inefficient...

    Looking for a 650nm diode

I found another that might be a good alternative Ushio HL65014DG 150mW min:647nm max:650nm👌🏽 Nvm just found out the price 690,00 €😵‍💫

    NUBM35 Blaster

Thermal grizzly is great TIM. Can't say if is enough for an array though.

    Looking for a 650nm diode

Maybe Sharp GH0652CA2G or GH0652CA2GC Typical wavelength is 650nm

    NUBM35 Blaster

That's unfortunate maybe you're pusing the array to hard or better cooling is required?

    NUBM0F

I'm wondering the same thing I've let it cool down and 4.8A gave me 8.64W with no lens around 0c temp. At room temperature I didn't push it past 5.1A scared to kill it but eventually I'll try 5.3A and 5.5A if it doesn't die right away.

    NUBM0F

I got one it seems to run cooler than a 7.5w diode that I have. Is more efficient when compared to NUBM44-V2. Divergance is huge but a G2 seems to focus it pretty well at close range. I got 8.08W with G2 lens at 5.1A / 4.91V input power was 25W. I don't have a professional LPM so take this...

    JLasers 700mW 520nm and 1.6W 450nm

Here is my 455nm 3.5w from JLasers with G2 lens looking over 4w also the duty cycle for this model is 30s on 5 min off. I wanted to test I had it on for about 3 minutes straight without any damage or power loss noticied after inserting freshly charged 14500 battery I would not recommend trying...

My Furst Custom laser 7W+ NUBM0E

The max amperage in the peltier cell affects the millivolt reading I've tested 1,2,6,8,10Amp cells. The lower the Amp = higher the reading. The higher the Amp = lower the reading. From my testing it seems that 6Amp cells give the more accurate readings for lasers between 1w~5w(limited by my...

Heater and black paint for Peltier cell based power meter

I have done a bit of testing with 40x40mm peltier + 40X40MM heatsink and flat black primer seems to work the best imo I don't own a professional meter but I do have known power lasers tested with more accurate lpm
