Around 4.4-4.65A should give you 7W of power these newer diode are more efficient. I'm awaiting half a block x4 diodes to do tests on them. I expect divergance to be really bad as per it's predecessors.

The new revision of the nubm07, and nubm0c has just dropped. These are very similar to nubm0a, 0c but with a greater efficiency and in our beloved 465-472nm range and they will surely do 8W+ overdriven🤩

Same seller where I found the blue also has the green(way better divergance out of all 3). I'm looking maybe he also has the red(worst divergance ever). I can say if you do get the correct diode is a good price they are usually double that price.

Love the idea but just thinking about it how would we fit a lens assembly like a G8 on to it? Maybe is better to do a insert like with a backplate? Something like this but round.

Well to answer your questions seems that they like to stay at 4.5A or less. And their limit is 7A hard fold back literally double their maximum rating. (Wonder if it has anything to do with their slope efficiency of 2 W/A)
