    25mm DTR Laser Module

The back of the LD base has the most surface area thus making it the priority for heat dissipation.

    NUBM0G

Just to put it out here since I had multiple 0F and 0A to test also x4 0G these new efficient family vary wavelength by nm in same block is easy to find a ~3-5nm difference at same current. Appropriate cooling is very very important. The diode base makes great contact with copper heatsink that...

    NUBM0F WOW....

Yes 17mm round driver. The laser diode is pressed into an 12mm aixiz head then aixiz slides into heatsink with thermal paste held by setscrew. Tolerances are kept around 0.03mm from sketch.

    NUBM0F WOW....

Ceatec has a youtube channel it surely will be a steam or video.

    NUBM0G - 465-470nm Beast!

So I wanted to clear out a bit of confusion and doubt I knew the model name when these diodes hit publicity thanks to @loreadarkshade we decided to keep the model name hidden until further testing but yes indeed this is the NUBM0G capable of 8W+ @ 5A in a beautiful 470nm at this power. I...

    NUBM0F WOW....

Interesting this nubm0f in my picture has passive cooling solid copper heatsink is a all in one module. Same way you are doing yours only difference is decanned not recapped good quality thermal paste. Here they have G8 lens which does a easy 8W+ @ 5A. Same slot is used in nichia blocks.

    New 8W+ 470nm DEMON diode NUBM0G 🥶

You are correct slight edge on nubm0f but both are very similar

New horizons Nichia NUBC31T coming soon 465nm 13W rated!

Since Nichia decided to hide it for now I will share the datasheet so it doesn't get lost when this device gets reset... NUBC31T Update: Nichia has removed the NUBC31T-E datasheet and replaced it with NUBC31T datasheet.

    NUBM0F WOW....

I got a feeling that you need proper diode base plate cooling and a shorty G2. My virgin pin decanned diodes seem to hit a bit higher (almost maxed out my lpm). Or maybe my lpm is just way off need someone to test my pointers without tampering with them... 😁

    NUBM0F WOW....

    Great quality G2 Efficient diode 5A 9.4W
  11. Darktron

    NUBM0F WOW....

Is the same type of newer family diodes ex 0F rated at 5.4W can be pused to 9W+ so I expect nubc31t to be able to do 17W of optical output power given their fV is lower than most blue diodes.
  12. Darktron

    NUBM0F WOW....

Nubc31t is their most powerful single diode.
  13. Darktron

    NUBM0F WOW....

Finally you get to test these, efficiency makes great diodes.

DONE: CAD Design/Modeling for Laser Host! ~$750 USD

I haven't taken the challenge of designing my own host yet. I have designed some laser diodes and heatsinks.

Finally, Diode Caps For Those Pesky "G-Ball" Diodes!

I don't believe this is the case some gball are easier to take off than others. Would think that if they are welded they would be so much harder to take off. It has to be a glue or solder like @RedCowboy mentioned.

    1.2W of 489nm, the mighty NDS7175

I'll patiently wait a couple more years till we get 5w 488nm diodes for a better price. But hey @Gryphon congrats! Is the best wavelength in my opinion i call those chameleon😅

    All sellers on lpf

I've been lacking on getting my website finished but I do make some cool convoy host pointers. Usually limited to blue and rarely green diodes for now. Usually prefer to ship inside USA but have shipped to Europe before

Reasons to custom build a laser

Custom builders like me give you a 470nm 8W+ for 300$ convoy s8 host just uses x1 18650 or x1 18350. G8 or G2 shorty lens included. No battery included.

PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Best alum you can get in round stock is 6063 but pain to machine just like copper

Has anyone played with the sharp gh0631ia2gc?

Wonder if anyone has tested these and how they do compared to sharp 488nm.
