So, I've been looking around to get a nice green laser, preferably a 50mw. I can't find really any for a nice price. I found one for like $110, and it seems pretty legit. So my question to all of you is, what kind would you all reccommend? I wouldn't have a problem with. Buying one from someone...

Alright, been a while since I posted or messed with the laser.. I just tinkered with it a bit, and it still doesn't work. When I click the button, and look directly down the laser hole or whatever, i can see a dim dim dim red light. no beam or anything, just a light. i really want to get this...

Yeah, it was lined up with the button. you could here the click when you pushed it. and no, no light what so ever was being put out.. I guess it is broken for good. As for the shoes, i will send you a PM. On a sidenote, on Deal Extreme, they have 200mw lasers for like $70 or something...

I'm smoking shisha in that pic.. hookah =] and it always said 50mw.. as for the discharge idea, i touched a piece of metal before i took it apart, so shouldn't that have made all the static on me discharge? my dad told me to always do that when messing with circuit boards. The laser pointer...

after i spent $150 on a 50mw green laser, i got to find out that i can "pot" mod it so it can burn things. cool. i might try it. i took it apart and everything, but the piece i needed to "solder" was not there. so i simply put it all back together. everything in the same place, nothing changed...
