You can also run the diode strings individually like I did so you don't have to use a boost driver and just use a linear regulator. Either way will work, just depends on what you want to do

I use the website imgbb to upload and resize photos. It then generates a link to the image that you can just drop into the text box and it appears in the forum as that image.

My lowest one is a 483nm, it did 482nm at threshold but is sitting quite happily at 483nm @ 100mW. It's a noticeably deeper blue compared to 488nm and wild to think they are the same diode

Out of curiosity what model is that diode? I've tried the GH05030C2LM (503nm), GH05035A2G (504nm) and GH05030D2L (503-509nm) but now that I'm looking they also have GH05050A2G, and GH05030H2L. And that's just what I see listed on eBay as "505nm" offerings from Sharp.

The last five Sharp 505 diodes I bought were 503, 504, 504, 509 and 509, hence the 503 and 509 in my signature. I would love to have a 497 or 499, would be great space fill in my spectrum.
