    Found Cyan Laser diodes !

M462's were a different diode though with a lasing threshold wavelength around 462nm. Link provided by jnrpop https://sites.google.com/site/dtrslasershop/dtrs-shop/diodes/m462-462nm-laser-diode They were fairly common about a decade ago as a lighter blue wavelength alternative to the M140

Review of the Tinker Lasers Valkyrie 488

Very nice! I have the 573 Valkyrie and I too was not expecting all the extra goodies with the laser, definitely a nice touch. Still in awe of your host design Giannis, it’s quite the looker

That what I’m assuming it is too, it must have been running since the dawn of the universe. But it’s still running!

Problems with the Sanwu Saber 5W 470

Sounds like a battery problem not a laser problem. I never use protected batteries for this exact reason, they are bigger. Heck even button top versions of the same size flat top batteries are bigger. Projected batteries are best for low power devices that see lots of use where you may lose...

589nm vs. 594nm Yellow Wavelength Comparison

True, all my "591's" are just 593.5's. On a spectrometer I can even see the green (532) and red (671 I think) lasing at the same time as the orange.

589nm vs. 594nm Yellow Wavelength Comparison

If you paid less than $100 it most likely 593.5nm if it was closer to $300-400 its most likely a 589nm

    Found Cyan Laser diodes !

Oh wow I didn't even see it had M462 written on the block. The M462's seemed to have dried up years ago so just coming across a block of them is awesome. They have very similar divergence and power as the M140 but with the lighter blue wavelength of the NUBM07.

JLasers Nano 500mW 520nm Now Available

I got mine a couple weeks ago and have been loving it. The laser is ridiculously small, even smaller than I would have thought and works great.

    NUBM0F build

With the focus set to infinity the G8 only just protrudes past the end of the heatsink and almost touches the underside of the front window. My first attempt at getting a flame to appear just resulted in the laser burrowing nearly 75% of the way through the wood instead lol There's the...

    NUBM0F build

At 7.9W @ 457nm its my strongest single diode laser build so far. It could have been more but my choice in extra optical components for a slightly lower divergence while being easy to assemble (not hand aligning a C lens pair) means there are measurable loses in the optics. The diode is a...

Now that would be a cool find!

    Found Cyan Laser diodes !

It has the red dorito on the back like a/m140's. Are you sure this is something different? The blue to cyan wavelength shift could just be from it cooking itself without a heatsink Whoops didn’t notice the typo created from missing the “f” in “shift” my bad for being a potty mouth lol

    It's not coming from Sanwu

So your stuff has been shipped? I would just wait for it to arrive. When ever I place an order with any Chinese company I mentally prepare myself for it to take a month to make it to my door, its usually pretty accurate.

I’ve always wanted some of those 510 heatsinks. If you decide to part with 2 or 3 of them (assuming the whole lot doesn’t sell all at once) I’d buy some

Unable to increase current to laser diode

Power supplies don't push current, you can't push more current than a load will take and you can't receive more current than a supply will generate. Just because a PSU claims 600W doesn't mean you can always get that 600W out of it. While its true 60V @ 10A is 600W and 30V @ 20A is 600W as...
