I just finished a build with a NUBM44 diode in a similar Eghemus host with a 4.5amp driver. I will post pics and beam shots tomorrow. I like the NDB7A75 diode, but I do think in almost every way not just power, but also beam quality the NUBM44 is superior.

Here are the beam shots, it's so bright the camera has issues with it, that and everything I put it on burns.
