    NUBM0F WOW....

I successfully opened the diode, but it does not last. As soon as I removed the capsule, I saw that there was burning around the crystal. It worked for about 1 minute and died. Nothing. What matters is that I tried

    New project with NUBM37 125W

The 900W drivers arrived today. I bought 2 to have a spare. The radiator on which I will mount the array has also arrived. The drivers turned out to be quite large. I expected them to be smaller. I hope it comes together with the other stuff

    NUBM0F WOW....

I'll try a small file. I have already opened such a diode before for a test. It was damaged though and I don't know if everything was ok. My goal is to try to peel off the capsule, but first I need to make a cut and use a screwdriver to try to remove the cap.

    NUBM0F WOW....

I can't argue how it got damaged. I just turned on the laser today and this happened. It was working fine before. I didn't remove the lens or anything. I put the batteries in and it blew. But it already happened. I will try to save the diode because it is still healthy. I'll let you know...

    NUBM0F WOW....

No, there is no thermal paste. If there was pasta it would burn immediately. The laser was used for 5 minutes the day before and there were no problems. Today I turned it on and the failure happened almost immediately within 10 seconds of operation. If there was pasta, it would have burst...

    NUBM0F WOW....

Brand new NUBM0F diode. During a test, after a few minutes of operation, the glass broke. It's not my fault. Whenever I place diodes I work very carefully and cleanly. There is no way a foreign body got inside because the lens was not removed. Probably a defective item. It happened at 5A...

    Life of decanated diodes?

NUGM04T after one year of use. I had previously read opinions that decaned diodes have a short life. From my experience I have 2 decaned diodes NUBM0E and NUGM04T and still work perfectly normal. The green NUGM04T was used the most. It works at 2.7A and outputs 2W of power. Its power is the...

    New project with NUBM37 125W

I couldn't quite get the idea, but that's beside the point. I can't say which of the two arrays has a better and tighter beam, but the NUBM38 produces something like a square in the distance, while the NUBM35 produces something like a circle/ellipse. According to the specification, it says...

    New project with NUBM37 125W

I received a NUBM37 125W laser array yesterday. First I rewired it from the board to remove some of it and break all the circuits with the pins. Currently, each pin is independent. Previously, 2-3 pins were connected and making a connection. Now everything is broken. I'm using the board for...

First post, second build. (Osram PLPT9 450LB_E)

The one pictured is the NUBM0E with the 3 Element lens. I know the guy with the laser from the photo.

    New Laser gun 75W+

Today I added these strips for wardrobe and cabinet corners. I'm going to put two phone magnets on top of them that I used for the front one, and that's how I'll put the lens on and off. I put a little glue on each one because the screws don't grip very well in the aluminum fins of the radiator

    New Laser gun 75W+

@RedCowboy I don't know why, but it always bothers me when I put optics in front of the array, because the optics without a coating to return the light back, make a reflection and the focus is right in the array itself. I did a test the other day with a biconvex lens that I placed in front of...

    New Laser gun 75W+

Yes, I got that. I also ordered a double concave lens and a convex one. I ordered from several places different lenses. When they come I will experiment. I'll actually be able to do something similar with your adjustable lens laser that's in the box. Simply, the box will be placed on a...

    New Laser gun 75W+

@RedCowboy I found on Aliexpress a double lens with a focal length of 1250mm. I will write when I get it. Its price is very good right now. 21 22 46 52 mm double cemented Achromatic Convex Objective Lens DIY Professional Refractor Astronomy Telescope Accessories...

    New Laser gun 75W+

@RedCowboy Thanks. 👍 I need a single lens because I want it to be compact and easy to carry. I have ordered several lenses from Aliexpress. I might try to assemble a lens. 30mm 40mm 50mm Glass Double Convex Concave Glass Lens Focal Length 50mm 75mm 100mm 150 mm 300mm Optics DIY Projector...

    New Laser gun 75W+

I am wondering if there is a single lens that has a long focal length of 1 meter or more?

    New Laser gun 75W+

I assembled the laser today. He had a lot of nerves. I spent an hour trying to remove the array from the board because it is very likely that if force is used it will be damaged. Then I assembled everything, having previously set the driver, which was brand new, to 4A current. I just put...

    Question about this driver

Thanks. Apparently they improved them. Because they used to have problems and damage the diodes. Probably old info. I will use them for NUBM0F. I think they will do well with him...
