Just got my Wicked Laser Krypton (520nm)

I know that a lot of people on this forum have disdain for Wicked Lasers, but I had to have one...mainly because I was going to flip it on eBay. So, I found a third party in Canada to buy one for me at a small discount. It's big, but not disappointing in quality. Plus, it's supposedly over...

Laser Goggle Practice all the time?

Hello, I have a few lower powered green lasers (under 200 mW). When I'm in the house blasting and burning stuff, I always wear some good quality Eagle Pair goggles. However, when I'm out shooting in the sky at night or blasting far away objects...I don't always wear my goggles...mainly...

Buying a Wicked Laser thru a Third Party Source

Thanks for your replies, guys! I wonder if the 520s are going to really come down in price once the demand is met. Eventually, I'm going to get out of this laser hobby. IMO, they're still just waaaay too dangerous...even for a reasonably careful person.

Buying a Wicked Laser thru a Third Party Source

Well...IMO...Wicked Lasers are STILL the most well known (high powered) laser out there and command the best resale. I had one and I liked it at least as well as my Optotronics and Dragon Laser. It somehow seems vogue on this forum to bash WL. So be it. The eBay number is: 161766909983 I...

Buying a Wicked Laser thru a Third Party Source

I had a low powered WL Krypton (150mW) and really liked it. Paid $250 for it and sold it for $300 in very good condition. Why do people beat up on WL lasers? Envy? I will probably end up selling it, but for once I want to play with a laser that is close to 1 watt. My only other laser is...

Buying a Wicked Laser thru a Third Party Source

Guys...thanks for your responses. I'm learning a lot on this forum. I may have made a mistake and bought that "new" Krypton on eBay for $900 and it says it comes with accessories and the lens kit. Sounds sketchy, but the other feedbacks seem to support the seller. Plus, eBay claims to...

Buying a Wicked Laser thru a Third Party Source

Hello, I'm interested in buying a Wicked Laser, but prefer a new one. I guess the only way we (in the USA) can buy one is to use a third party source outside the country. There are two guys on eBay that are doing it. One seems reputable, but charges a 100% premium. There's another user...

Dragon Laser Spartan vs Jetlaser PL-E Pro

Great answers, guys! I think I'm going to order the silver PL-E Pro Jetlaser with the optional beam extender. Unless anyone thinks higher power is desirable at the expense of shorter battery life and $$$, I'm going with the 300 mW version.

Dragon Laser Spartan vs Jetlaser PL-E Pro

Thanks for all my persistent questioning, y'all! :) I'm trying to learn as much as possible before I commit hundreds of dollars for the Jetlaser. Ultimately, I prefer the tailcap only simplicity of my Dragon Laser, but a double switch is OK. At the other extreme, I found the double switch...

Dragon Laser Spartan vs Jetlaser PL-E Pro

On the Jetlaser PL-E's, is it possible for the user to totally disconnect/disable the momentary switch and only have an off/on activation? I don't like inadvertent activation by just grabbing the unit firmly.

Dragon Laser Spartan vs Jetlaser PL-E Pro

I have owned an Optotronics 125 mW pen green laser, a Wicked Laser Krypton 300 mW and a Dragon Laser Spartan green 200mW. I sold the first two and kept the latter due to it's compact size and great UI system. In my opinion, the Optotronics had a momentary switch that was way too easy to...

Is a beam expander worth the money?

I'm thinking of buying a Jetlaser PL-E Pro in 300 mW. The 10X beam expander is an additional $90. Is it worth it? Also, what does it do that the focusable part of the laser not do?

Is there any value in power levels over 200mW?

I have a Dragon Laser Spartan (532 nm) and love it. It's supposedly rated at 200 mW. It's not a real burner due to the wide beam, but it seems the long distance divergence is better than my old WL Krypton. A part of me wants a 750+ mW "blaster", but other than burning holes faster...is...

How can I buy a new Wicked Laser Krypton (in the USA)?

Good info, people. Thanks! Is there a big difference between 520 and 532 nm beam quality? I assume my Dragon Laser Spartan is 532 nm.

How can I buy a new Wicked Laser Krypton (in the USA)?

I already have a Dragon Laser Spartan (200 mW) and love it's simple, but safe switch. I hate using keys/plugs and momentary switches that can activate just by grabbing the laser in a hurry. I had a Wicked Laser Krypton (low power) before and can tolerate it's crazy UI.

How can I buy a new Wicked Laser Krypton (in the USA)?

Thanks! Do you know if those lasers have the IR Filter? Blacklist...really? Maybe, I should just cough up the extra $$$.

How can I buy a new Wicked Laser Krypton (in the USA)?

I am interested in buying a brand new Wicked Laser Krypton, but live in the USA. I know there's a third party seller on eBay, but their prices are way over 100% markup. Are there any other third parties that can buy for us in the USA?
