No, but the driver is sticking a bit out of the heatsink, and also I was having a bit of trouble simply fastening the setscrew without the module sliding out of the heatsink as I fastened it. Anyway, I think it will be fine like that. I used thermal adhesive so it should transfer heat reasonably...

A few days ago I received the NDG7475 520nm green diode that I was lucky enough to win from the information GB by ARG! Naturally, I built a laser from it, and wanted to share the build process and result pics. I used a C2 host from dealextreme, heatsink from Eudaimonium and X-drive at 1.8A...

I once had a blindspot after a direct hit of 30mW or so. It was very small and there was only one though, so your situation sounds more serious. But in my case, the blindspot persisted for several weeks but eventually it did go away. Or my brain started correcting for it. Either way, I don't see...
