Yea, I had the material and it was easier to just machine a bit off the sides to make it pretty. Plus it allows continuous operation with no worries of thermal issues. It could have been smaller and still allowed that however.

Yes, I have one of those too, and it is NOWHERE NEAR 200mw. Mine is roughly 60mw. If you are referring to a green module fitting this host, its a different host than that above, and the green module is slightly different than most to allow it to fit and be focusable.

RHD, I would not mind shipping to Canada. Its not the hassle everyone makes it out to be. As far as a power source, 3x 3.7v lithium cells in series will power it fine. Thats what I used. I would recommend at least 18650's since the driver is kinda power hungry.
