Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

Thanks alot. I would love to do a tutorial, but I don't want to disassemble the laser now as it was difficult to get the dual Flexdrives to fit without VERY careful precision. However, I would be glad to tell you what parts I used and where and how to install everything. I understand the feeling...

    BDR-S06J 12x Sled question

FYI: My BDR-S06J just LED'd on me running at 570mA after only about 15 minutes of actual ON TIME. I was using short duration cycles and it was running in a Copper heatsink. NO heat issues either. Just a Warning that perhaps these are not as robust as we thought. Prior to this however, I must say...

Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

UPDATE: I've finished upgrading The Assault Phaser and I am proud to announce that it is now a Dual Flexdrive 445nm Laser running at 1825mA putting out about 1.7Watts with fully functioning sound & Blue LED effects. The New AW IMR14500's made this possible. This thing is incredibly bright! and...

Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

Ok, I reworked the phaser to work with the AW IMR 14500's in parelell and WOW! What a difference. These babies put out some serious power. The beam is MUCH brighter now. I have been testing it's burning ability before and after and now it burns at a distance where as before it would not. I can't...

    2.147W Flaminpyro SS-032 Dual Flexdrive

Me too. I just got my second Flexdrive set to 900ma and will be modifying my 1.4Watt Phaser to 1.7Watt.(445 Aixiz glass lens).

    2W SAIK SA-305 26650 Host W/Massive Mohrenberg Heatsink

Very nice job! Your builds were the inspiration behind my High powered build and the confidence to push the envelope with these lasers. Question: Do you notice much of a difference in the brightness of the beam between say a 1.4watt and 1.9watt ?

    BDR-S06J 12x Sled question

I think that these may be the best 405's. I just ordered one. I plan on running mine at 525ma to start and see how it goes.

which AAA bateries I should use

Hello. I have a Red laser 650nm at 475ma in a host and I am using Energizer Advanced Lithium AAA's in it and it has worked fine with almost 2 hours of ON time so far. I highly recommend the Ultimate E2 lithiums from energizer also as they are even longer lasting.

Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

No. It uses 2 AA. I am currently using Energizer E2 Ultimate Lithiums. They are rated at 2amps cw. and up to 3amps for 2 second bursts with an 8 second rest. I have calculated the amp draw on this at around 2.3 amps with the sound board. I do not have a meter, but I know it's getting what it...

Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

Thanks guys. I will post a video as soon as I am able. I am borrowing a digital cam from a friend. I got the host from Ebay. It is the Playmates version circa 1997. The Assault Phaser used a removable Power clip and was actually inspired by today's firearms. The idea for it was thought up by...

Star Trek Assault Phaser 1.4W 445nm

Hello Everyone. I just wanted to post my NEW Laser: The Star Trek Assault Phaser Modified with a 445nm 1.4Watt laser powered by a Flexdrive v5 set to 1.5Amps firing thru an Aixiz 405/445 glass lens. This is by far the most fun i've ever had with a laser. Here are some pics::drool:

    2.147W Flaminpyro SS-032 Dual Flexdrive

Very nice build. It is very reassuring to see these kind of unique ultra high power builds. Is there anyway you can check the current this setup is drawing and post the results?

FS: Large Maglite Monster Kits! FlexModP3, Side Button Forward Clicky!

Re: FS: Large Maglite Kits! Side Button Forward Clicky! That is one awesome laser.I have a question about the output power. Are you sure that you are getting 1.8watts using the 445 glass lens? If so, that is amazing. Usually to get more than the input(ma) you need to use the 405 g1 or g2.

Star Trek 2009 Phased Pistol Modification
