Thanks alot. I would love to do a tutorial, but I don't want to disassemble the laser now as it was difficult to get the dual Flexdrives to fit without VERY careful precision. Very nice job! Your builds were the inspiration behind my High powered build and the confidence to push the envelope with these lasers. Question: Do you notice much of a difference in the brightness of the beam between say a 1.4watt and 1.9watt ?

I think that these may be the best 405's. I just ordered one. I plan on running mine at 525ma to start and see how it goes.

Hello. I have a Red laser 650nm at 475ma in a host and I am using Energizer Advanced Lithium AAA's in it and it has worked fine with almost 2 hours of ON time so far. I highly recommend the Ultimate E2 lithiums from energizer also as they are even longer lasting.

Hello Everyone. I just wanted to post my NEW Laser: The Star Trek Assault Phaser Modified with a 445nm 1.4Watt laser powered by a Flexdrive v5 set to 1.5Amps firing thru an Aixiz 405/445 glass lens. This is by far the most fun i've ever had with a laser. Here are some pics::drool:

Re: FS: Large Maglite Kits! Side Button Forward Clicky! That is one awesome laser.I have a question about the output power.Are you sure that you are getting 1.8watts using the 445 glass lens? If so, that is amazing. Usually to get more than the input(ma) you need to use the 405 g1 or g2.
