It is a mixed bag with both of those lasers. It pretty much boils down to personal preference. Do realize that it will take a bit of time to ship to you. Have you considered building your own? There are members here that can suggest exactly what to get to build yourself a 1W laser. 445nm correct?

I was going to suggest point the laser at a multitude of different materials as I have seen a phenomena like this using a 405nm laser. Darn good information diachi :gj: :beer:

Just be sure that your eyes are nowhere lined up with that beam because you most probably will be getting a class IV laser. A beam expander or line lens might help you out. I do not have any beam expanders left. A great use for the line lens is painting lines in parking lots so it is a viable...
