Hmm should i try getting a new driver then if it still doesnt work i could let DTR troubleshoot it? I only have a normal HS so would i have to turn it off in like 30 secs if i use a 1.8a driver with my m140 diode?

Could the case pin wire short it out? I didn't trim it COMPLETELY and i dont know for sure but it's a possibility that might have rubbed up against the pill.

Well i THOUGHT everything would go fine and dandy but it didn't! so NOW everythings is thoroughly SCREWED. And ive lost $250 for no reason at all. And i cant post pics because ive got no camera! Unless of course you want me to use an iPod.

-_- well ive tried everything on this laser that i can. Can i just send it to one of you so you can build it? I just dont understand what i did wrong... Ive tried building 2 lasers so far and both failed. Why though? The SL kits are SOOOOO easy to build but i just dont understand why i cant...

Ahhhhhhh it must be the tailcap the driver or the module because i put it togeather perfectly. I'll post some pics in a bit.

Yes i put them in the right way and just to make sure i tried them both ways. And since i hooked everything up right the first time before i put the batteries in could it be a bad tailcap?

Well i hade my diode connected to the driver when i put the batteries in so that shouldnt happen. Btw sorry for kinda blowing up there i'm just a bit frustrated because ive been waiting to get a burning laser forever now and when i finally get one it doesnt work...

Ahhhhhhh well im just gonna buy the 1.8a driver. I was gonna get the 1.8a driver anyway. And if it STILL doesnt work ill get a new diode from DTR.

ok i will disconnect the diode... And a test load is???

How do i tell if the driver is outputting power? I have a power meter but it doesnt work... Any suggestions?
