i'm using the same one 18650 BUT a new one, i was using a used one before so yeah.. Edit: Should i test it with 2 18650 Batteries?

Okay well i decided to test this again WITH a new battery and now it's brighter? it could burn tape as well? does that still means it's fried?

mmmm okay, well i've learnt something at least, but i'm planning on buying another one and this time just connecting it up to the driver without testing with 2 AA batteries, so would that just work it fine?

i'm just used to testing lasers with double AA batteries, could someone at least show me a setup of how to power this?

Basically i have a build.. 3.7v Battery 18650, I used this laser module in my build.. Basically Connected the 2 wires + and - to the driver which was connected with the battery and switch.

okay so i just tested it, it worked and lit up but it's not bright?

That's what i was thinking also, are some laser modules like that? I'm not entirely sure about the one i purchased, but thank you all i hope it didn't fry

Okay well i'll remember that now, also test a laser module WITH a resistor at least, wouldn't it show signs of being fried at least? i mean like i didn't leave the wires soldered or anything i just let it touch a few times but i know it wasn't too long i just let it tapped and saw nothing light...

Well i'll explain what i did exactly, i have a battery holder with positive and negative wire so it's not directly to the batteries, wouldn't it go really bright when it fries? These batteries are kind of bad brand ones and i've been using them for other laser modules for quite awhile now

ooooh well how do i know if it got fried though? nothing lit up so i only just let it touch abit. Edit: I only let it tap for like 10 seconds or 5 seconds in total but nothing happened so yeah.
