Just tried one at 5 v and 30 ma LPM says 7mw. This is the same unit only it's rated at 5v. What do you get for a dot at 3v? Just ran it up to 7v and 50ma and it's putting out 11mw, but went to 3mw with in 30 sec. At 3v and 10ma it runs 2mw. They look the same so I wonder if they are the same...

Yes I'm using a 3 element lens, but I'm not sure where Jordan set it. It's pulling 1.2 amps at the tail cap. I don't know what that may work out to, I'll have to defer that to someone with more experience. Ed

What has happened to donations here? when I first came here donations came close if not meeting the goal. now here it is 5/28 and the goal is at 35% and I did 30% of it. I see people spending hundreds of $ on lasers , but not a penny to keep the forums going. So get off your butt and donate...

You just can't put a cap on how stupid people can be. Just look up the stats for " self inflicted accidental gunshot wounds to the foot". People will always find ways to be complete morons.

These folks make some of the best glasses/goggles that are out there. They are certified and used by some realy big names. The cost is up there but your eyes are worth it. Visible : ARG Style 60 Softie Goggle Update. I called and was told that they don't sell safety glasses/goggles any more...

Saw a youtube video of one of rick trent's 445nm 3 watts and bought one immediately. Then I saw a referral to LPF in the comments and that's how I found LPF. IMO the best forum on the web. :beer:
