You would need some soldering skills , DTR sells complete laser diode modules prewired . solder two wire together and heat sink the solder joints . slide the module in the heat sink and tighten the set screw. DTR also sells aspherical lens to focus the beam. Rich:)

Hi, Before you buy the cells measure the ID of the battery tube on the laser . if its 18mm or better your in . if it measures les than 18mm they will not fit inside the battery tube. Rich:)

Hi, If you cant get the cells you want then build your own laser no hard at all . order the diode and driver prewired from DTR and solder two wriest the host thats prewired.

Hi, There no way that these are 1500Mah 16340,s That BS Chinese sales pitch. The highest is 850, 700 MaH . There is not enough capacity in that small battery to hold all that. Sorry that what I think. Rich:)

Hi, 16340 batteries will only give you about 850 mAh hours some a re 750 , 700 mAh .your not going to find a 16340 in 1500 mAh . You would meed two to for that. Show some pics of the old batteries you have and maybe we can help.
