Chrome browser - Anyone else getting this warning

It could be that a member posted an image coming from dx?

Chrome browser - Anyone else getting this warning

It seems dealexteme was hacked and a virus is running around. I don't think its blocking dx.com just dealextreme.com

    What lights do you have?

Post pics of your DRY build when you get the chance!

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

Nice, I like those isolation rings. They come in handy if you have an aluminum reflector and don't want it to short out.

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

@Blord: Crank up the amps to 4A!! Maybe a flatter head screw would be better. Just wondering did the host come with isolation rings for the LEDs?? @AUS: 85W HIDs are pretty cheap now. I've seen them for about $135 free DHL or EMS shipping. That explains it better. So I guess this is used to...

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

I have a couple DD lights and my XM-L has a MOSFET while my P7 is straight wire, but has a resistor for low mode. I wonder if this is the same case in the DRY because I saw a MOSFET in the driver, but not sure how it tied in to the whole driver. I killed 2 SST-90s direct driving =[

75 Watt HID Mag Mod! Estimated 5000 Lumens...

Nice build Jay! Is the aluminum extension threaded to match the body of the Mag or is it just epoxied? I have the 85W version I ordered on Aliexpress a few months ago: Wholesale 2012 Sales Promotion!!! 85W/65W/45W+SOS HID Xenon Flashlight 8500LM 7800mAh I talked to Leo and the transaction was...

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

I'd probably recommend using a power resistor to drop some additional voltage and restrict the current. It might be too much of a difference in voltage between the LEDs and the batteries without the resistor. I use 20g silicone wire on my flashlight builds.

Can some help me design my board in eagle?

Ah, you need to make a ground plane, use the wire tool and put layer to bottom or top and go over the dimension of your board. Then use the info tool to change the property of the signal to GND. This will make that layer the ground. To make the gerbers there should be a default CAM file with...

Can some help me design my board in eagle?

No problem! It's still getting errors at 1mil? Is it a clearance issue or masking? I'm not too sure what the standard is, does your board house give you the min/max values? You can ignore some of those warnings, the pads look ok to me. I've experimented with different layouts to see what I...

Can some help me design my board in eagle?

Hey bob, I don't know if you solved your issue yet, but you can edit the clearance tab in the design rules. That should fix your clearance issues. However, each board house has different specifications on their minimum values. So it might be a good idea to get ahold of that information and...

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

@DarkSide: No, they don't make a skeleton handle for this light. I don't think it was designed to be weapon mounted. You would have to DIY. Are you refering to the the Niteye EYE30? That's a good light with pretty cool features, just a bit pricey for me. There's probably some reviews on CPF...

Review: DRY 3 XM-L T6 CW *PIC HEAVY*

IIRC, there should be a contact board that will come with it and it was 30-32mm. The depth inside is around 10-15mm. The original driver the DRY comes with has just enough space for a thermal pad to place on the IC to make contact with the screw to the aluminum reflector. Are those XM-L LEDs...

Two new maglite builds (Triple XML + Red PhlatLight) and Mag 6D Teaser

Sweet builds! I see your using the same driver I used on my triple XM-L. Do you know how much current is going to the LEDs? I tested using 2 and 3 cells, but not 4. I'd also love to see how much lumens that beast puts out!

My haitus (or why I've not been around)

Nice choice of receiver! I might need to replace mines in a few years. I don't really need another sub since the one I currently have already makes the whole room vibrate (I guesstimate around 25' x 15' x 12' vaulted ceiling). I just have a craving for more power!:evil:

My haitus (or why I've not been around)

Welcome back! I also have a mini home theater set up! I started it a few years ago, but it's still incomplete. :o So far it consists of: Onkyo TX-SR608 receiver 2 BIC Acoustech PL-76 towers 1 Acoustech PL-28 center 1 BIC Acoustech PL-200 12" subwoofer Really underrated speakers, but the...

Gray Guidesman 405nm BDR-S06J 827 mW *PIC HEAVY*

The 635nm really outshines the 405nm and I mean completely overpowers it in terms of brightness! The 635 puts out around 530 mW using an AR coated acrylic lens.

Gray Guidesman 405nm BDR-S06J 827 mW *PIC HEAVY*

Thanks! I made a simple sketch on a CAD software and had Jay machine it to my specifications. That's a great idea! I'll post a pic or two of them later on tonight! (PST)

:thanks: everyone! This has got to be my first efficient diode I've gotten so far! It's gonna be a keeper.
