Infinitus; The 2900mah 18650PF Panasonics are quite good with 10 amp discharge current. But the Samsung INR18650 20 series sacrifices about a third capacity to deliver 15 amps. LarryDFW

I agree with the 6 amp limit. It depends on the internal resistance. I like the new Panasonic "PF" 18650 cells which are rated for a solid 10 amp discharge, and have 2900mah. Internal resistance is a very low 22 milliohms ! LarryDFW

LaserNoobs; Safety should be your first consideration. Lithium ion cells from 2nd tier manufacturers like your ultrafire do not have UL-1642 safety approval. I only use cells that have met the UL standards (brand name manufacturers). Chargers also vary in quality and workmanship. They need...

Josh; The Arctic has a fairly heavy draw on the 18650 cell. The Panasonic 3400 mah cell I sell will give you slightly more power since the voltage drops less. More importantly, it will last about 50% longer before it drops power out to your laser. Battery & Charger Link Thanks; Larry

I have to ship my lithium ion cells in a piece of equipment for them to pass postal inspection. The Chinese shippers have many cell shipments returned for that reason. Notice this just posted shipper quote: Edit: They are now rejecting mail shipments containing lithium ion cells. LarryDFW

Jeff; The larger #26650 cell does have some advantages in high power lights and lasers. Some nice hosts for #26650 cells are hitting the market. The ICR 26650 would probably be the cell I would stock . . . since it can deliver 8 amps and has a higher capacity than the INR cells. It does...
