Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

Mike; They should be cool with a low IR. Let us know how they perform under your laser load. They look to be good cells for over 10 amp current demands. I still like the Panasonic 3400mah for under 6.8 amps or the NCR18650PF 2900mah cells for under 10 amps. Larry

Good job wearing the glasses, and stressing their importance. Everybody needs to keep a responsible attitude in mind, to insure the continued survival of this group. LarryDFW

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

The 3400mah Panasonics have the highest capacity, giving the longest run times. The new 2900mah NCR18650PF cells have a safer chemistry: nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC), and will deliver more charge-discharge cycles. The NMC cells also can deliver 10 amps, vs 6.8 amps for the 3400mah...

    Quality #18650 Batteries & Charger

Pman; Thanks for the kind words . . . I would like to add one important reason I have started offering the Panasonic PF cells: SAFETY More cycle life under heavy load is also a significant benefit. LarryDFW

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

I still have Panasonic 3400 mah cells in stock, and the brand new Panasonic 2900 mah NCR18650PF, high discharge cells. These PF cells are also safer due to the manganese additive. LarryDFW

    26650 Current

HMike; Let us know how the new Samsung cells work. You can test the internal resistance with your 0.5 ohm load for voltage drop. LarryDFW

    AW vs RediLast!!! GO!!!!

Nipple enhancement is a cash-cow business. :yh: Larry P.S. our positive terminals are soldered, which makes the cell shorter (66 mm) than the add-on terminals. That means that they fit more lights without mods.

    AW vs RediLast!!! GO!!!!

The Panasonic PF cells have several advantages: 1. Higher Capacity - 2900-2950 2. Lower Internal Resistance - (I measured 22 milliohms) 3. Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide - it is safer chemistry LarryDFW

    AW vs RediLast!!! GO!!!!

Infinitus; The 2900mah 18650PF Panasonics are quite good with 10 amp discharge current. But the Samsung INR18650 20 series sacrifices about a third capacity to deliver 15 amps. LarryDFW

    26650 Current

I agree with the 6 amp limit. It depends on the internal resistance. I like the new Panasonic "PF" 18650 cells which are rated for a solid 10 amp discharge, and have 2900mah. Internal resistance is a very low 22 milliohms ! LarryDFW

    Quality #18650 Batteries & Charger

Price Decrease . . . Panasonic 3400mah #18650 cells now $12.95 , prepaid in Cont. U.S. With positive terminal buttons if desired. Also, Panasonic has released a new high-current cell, the NCR18650PF. Output current up to 10 amps. LarryDFW

    AW vs RediLast!!! GO!!!!

As Infinitus mentioned, they are both Panasonic 3400mah cells. Also, for heavy loads the new Panasonic NCR18650PF cell . . . can support up to 10 amp loads. Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide chemistry. No protection circuit gives a lower Internal Resistance, for more power output. LarryDFW

    UltraFire 2400mAh 3.7v Battery Charger?

LaserNoobs; Safety should be your first consideration. Lithium ion cells from 2nd tier manufacturers like your ultrafire do not have UL-1642 safety approval. I only use cells that have met the UL standards (brand name manufacturers). Chargers also vary in quality and workmanship. They need...

Josh; The Arctic has a fairly heavy draw on the 18650 cell. The Panasonic 3400 mah cell I sell will give you slightly more power since the voltage drops less. More importantly, it will last about 50% longer before it drops power out to your laser. Battery & Charger Link Thanks; Larry

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

I have to ship my lithium ion cells in a piece of equipment for them to pass postal inspection. The Chinese shippers have many cell shipments returned for that reason. Notice this just posted shipper quote: Edit: They are now rejecting mail shipments containing lithium ion cells. LarryDFW

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

Jeff; The larger #26650 cell does have some advantages in high power lights and lasers. Some nice hosts for #26650 cells are hitting the market. The ICR 26650 would probably be the cell I would stock . . . since it can deliver 8 amps and has a higher capacity than the INR cells. It does...
