    Panasonic 3200mAh 18650s - $5

I also am not happy with GearBest . I ordered a XL sweatshirt from them for a gift . They didn't ship for a couple of weeks. Then when I finally received it, they had taken a "Large", and relabeled it as an "Extra Large".

Test results for Sanyo, Nitecore, Panasonic, AW, Efest, Ultrafire batteries.

Your laser will be fine, since the voltage is the same for those two different cells. P.S. My testing shows lower Internal Resistance levels for the Sanyo 3400mah cells and I have tested hundreds of them (avg~50 milliohms).

    Importance of decent battery chargers

"One thing I wanted to ask you... what batteries (16340) would you recommend?" I like the Keepower 16340 700 mah cells. Get that meter, also.

    Importance of decent battery chargers

I frequently use many different chargers, and have a slightly different outlook on chargers. 1st - Make sure the charger does NOT charge over 4.2 VDC. Check with an accurate meter. 2nd - Don't charge at a rate over 500-600ma for questionable cells. Check frequently for temperature rise (130' F...

    50 Watt UV Light

"Nichia now has some UV bins that are over 50% efficient" I am using some of these now. Other LED manufacturers have some UV LED's with comparable efficiency.

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

In my book, Sanyo and Panasonic are state-of-the-art. Nitecore is a good brand, but I don't know whose cell or capacity ratings they are using.

Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

To read the Sanyo name and info . . . you have to look very carefully in the middle of the cell.

    50 Watt UV Light

There are plenty of foundries that deliver high quality LED's . Several LED manufacturers now has some UV bins that are over 50% efficient . The seven in the photo above are 4 watt power input chips from an earlier design .

    50 Watt UV Light

Here are a couple of low-output photos of earlier LED's in the same host: 41% efficient LED's which due to the application, can be used without any lens .

    50 Watt UV Light

UV LED technology has advanced a lot in the last year . . . Several manufacturers have chips which produces 1.15 watts of UV with an input of 700ma @ 3.7 V. That comes out to 2.59 Watts of input power . 1.15 watts out/2.59 watts in = 41 % UV power. 50 watts in = 20.5 watts UV out (without...

    50 Watt UV Light

Cypara . . Why don't you show LPF members a 50W input light that you have built, that can run continuously without overheating . .

    50 Watt UV Light

I have the complete chip spec sheet for all the various LED's I am testing . . . Measured the actual DC current thru the LEDs . . . LarryDFW

    50 Watt UV Light

These lights work fine for curing the clear optical UV adhesive I have.

    50 Watt UV Light

UV Power output with this 390nm LED is ~20 Watts. Some camera's show the UV wavelengths.

    50 Watt UV Light

This is a photo of the longest wavelength : Beam is ~18" in diameter. Items are 50W Warm White LED's, Green Fluorescent wheel from C___o projector, green switch cover from flashlight, hand tool and UV Bulb showing glass lens assembly. Had to reduce intensity in PhotoPaint for this image.

    50 Watt UV Light

We are testing several wavelengths at the moment . I will post some UV photos next week . . .

    50 Watt UV Light

I sell them for removing spots in conjunction with oxidizers on expensive Oriental rugs . . . They use 50 One-Watt UV LED's in one COB assembly . . . Frequency in naometers is proprietary . . . My cost is several hundred . . .

Red PT 54 Monster C6 Flashlight

    Here's a 12 W Red I built for a fellow LPF moderator . . . http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/hi-power-red-led-12-watt-build-63366.html I was looking for a longer duty cycle, so I used a bigger host . . .

    50 Watt UV Light

Just finished a couple of these lights . . . Biggest challenge was proper heat sinking for that continuous 50W power LED . . . The complete light is 24" tall for size perspective. Bulb weights a couple of pounds alone .
