    Green laser

Currently I don't have time for requests, sorry. I do this for fun in my spare time and to support the laser community - and to raise a funds for other laser projects.  So if your wondering about the low prices, its about recovering the costs for the parts I need to buy and then something extra...

Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your Yes, can do. Figure about $60 depending on the amount of work involved.

    Red laser

Re: 300mW red burner laser with copper sink $140 Not a problem.  Host ordered, I'll let you know when its ready.

Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your I depends on exactly what you give me and how much work is involved but figure on something like $60 shipped back to you.

    Red/blu ray

Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your Sounds good. ;) Your red is basically ready, just a few small things to do.

    Red laser

Re: 300mW red burner copper sink $140 I usually set them to 450mA. I've done 500mA before and they have been fine also. This laser was requested to run at 300mW and to hell with the consequences ;)

    280mW Burning Red from LikeItBright

It does apply to both ;) The point of a high powered device is to deliver large quantities of energy in a small time interval by definition. As far as assault weapons go, banning guns has always been an excuse for an assault on freedom by powers wanting more of what they already have. History...

Deals on closed can reds (x16-x20)?

Yeah, I'm after some closed cans which have never been in a sink....

    280mW Burning Red from LikeItBright

Indeed. I need an assault weapon in order to deliver the maximum amount of energy to my target in the shortest time possible :D

Deals on closed can reds (x16-x20)?

Is anyone aware of some good deals on modest power, say 200mW closed can bare laser diodes at 650-660nm? Currently the cheapest way to buy red seems to still be a lpc sled at about $12 which gives you are 300mW LD but if anyone knows where you can find a bare LD cheaper I would be interested.

    Red/blu ray

Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your I use the flexdrive so 2x14500 is about 8V which exceeds the flexdrive 5V maximum and would probably kill it. The maH of a 14500 is sufficient that no extension tube is necessary unless you need really long run time of some sort of 2V battery...

    120mW Blu-ray super compact CR123A

Nope, New Zealand. Takes 4-10 days to get to you in the States.

    120mW Blu-ray super compact CR123A

Yes its very nice if I say so myself. I will have to build another one for myself I think.

Re: 300mW red burner copper sink $140 Thanks for the comments man.  Yes, I still build a few for the love of it really.

    120mW Blu-ray super compact CR123A

Copper heatsink as standard. This is a super compact stainless host that takes a single CR123A rechargeable battery.  It uses the flexdrive set to 120mA for 120mW after the collimating lens from a handpicked PHR-803T laser diode.  It uses a reliable twist on/off action which allows the super...
