WTB: KES-400A empty sleds - no diodes

Re: WTB: KES-400A - harvested is fine. Cheers, saw that though I think they are likely all gone.

WTB: KES-400A empty sleds - no diodes

I'm after the optics from this sled, so its fine if the laser diodes have been removed.  Send me a PM if you have something you want to pass on for a 'modest' cash return. Ideally I'd like quite a few of these sleds.

    Green laser

Re: Custom green lasers Sure, its 14500 like the current hosts and pretty much the same physical size.

    Green laser

Re: Custom green lasers Thanks! ;)   The silver host in the middle of these three is a CR123A.  Thing about those batteries is the maH rating is never that high so you would probably want more than one in any high drain laser....

    Feeler - pbs red

Re: Feeler - 500mW handheld red...  Its huge work to make one and expensive.  Its not the kind of thing I will be building but parts is about $350 I think from a quick add up. May be able to reduce that...

    Feeler - pbs red

Just curious if anyone would be curious to see  a red laser which uses two diodes and a pbs to combine the beams if I make a personal project. Obviously a class 3b laser, I'd have to classify it as a module or bench top and probably put an interlock on it along with all the other warning...

2x LOC REDS combined with a PBS CUBE 410mw

Thats definitely out of something. What kind of optic/prism is that combining the beams.....not a regular PBS...?

Re: Custom green lasers Just parts ;) Oh and shipping.

    Green laser

Re: Custom green lasers Yes. I examined the divergence and it was surprisingly low for such a small beam waste.  Must have a low M^2 value for the beam.  Good modules.  This build uses a single 14500 battery.  I expect this can be run more or less CW because of the large heat sink and the extra...

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 I have a few free evenings for that :)

    Red laser

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 Yes, I only use the AixiZ glass with AR coating. It performs much better than acrylic and passes 99% of the red laser light.

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 Oh sweet, glad you got it ok! Course its value, its nearly what it costs me to make ;) Well nearly.

    Red laser

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 It depends on the module you want. Probably the best bang for buck is the modules speced 120-150mW.

    Red laser

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 Sent you a pm. The green can't be made to fit in that host as the module itself is as long as the host.  The best I can do is fit it to the stainless steel Romisen host for a similar look...

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 Thanks for the great comments!  I really enjoy making quality lasers, even if its time consuming. ;) Let me know when the green turns up.
