Re: Custom green lasers $220 I suppose I could do a clear coat but it isn't necessary from a metal oxidation perspective as the aluminium retains its shine and it would cut back on thermal transfer a little.

Re: Custom green lasers $220 Perhaps - though I'd have to start getting a few request for that - plus as each module is not identical depending on the power/model each sink would be different. At the moment I carefully fit the sink to the host. Its a bit more complex that you may think...

Aiiieee! That will kill your laser diode and your driver in one go. Like the previous poster said, put the switch before the flexdrive.

Re: Custom green lasers $220 Nope, thats the aperture cap I make. The o-like module does not have an cap, just a threaded barrel with lens threaded into it.

Re: Feeler - 500mW handheld red... Huummm, not sure about that. Perhaps the flexdrive could do it.....but there may be a problem with unequal voltage from across each diode. I may have to check with Dr Lava. Pinouts are everywhere for the LPC and 803 diodes, data sheets I've not seen so much...

Re: 300mW red burner lasers with copper sink $140 Yup, shouldn't be far off. Let me know.....in the meantime it shouldn't be hard to find a 3.7V 14500 primary somewhere. I'll be sending a charged battery with the laser as standard once DX actually gets them to me....
