Introducing Valkyrie 𖤍 573nm "True Yellow" & Mirror-Polished Steel Host!

People complain where’s yellow how come I can’t have yellow. They get yellow and complain about it. I love mine, it’s bright enough, it’s fun enough, it’s yellow. Thank you.

Introducing Valkyrie 𖤍 573nm "True Yellow" & Mirror-Polished Steel Host!

I have the original and it is really bright so this must be amazing! I had a 36mw 575nm a few years back and you could see the beam in daylight. I may have a 2w ospl 577nm soon so I will pass but for anyone wondering yea this is going knock your socks off!!

Ultraviolet handheld laser - what is the status in 2024

Exactly. Use a led. They do exist but not high power. A nitrogen laser will give 337nm but it is pulsed the pulse however is kw bright

A possible way to use Lasers without Safety Goggles? (See the beam!)

I use cameras to align high power IR lasers. It works well and I feel much safer. As for visual lasers I use eye protection. I will say I have watched many many light shows on screens with a 1w projector but anything more is so bright it hurts and hence my eyes say not good. Once you get...

    125W Laser Array Driver Help

I found these heat sinks with pins a while back and the fans mount on top blowing air down into the pins. I had a 6”x6” that was rated at 1kw dissipation using four computer fans. If you find them let me know I lost the website.

i remember when a 5mw 405nm was like 500.00 and rare. Or the 35mw 660nm reds that where case positive and static sensitive like blow on them and pop. We have come a long way in 25 years.

Drill a hole with a laser

I have a 50kw peak 355nm laser that runs at 1 kHz 380ps pulse microchip unit. They are not hard to find. Bet that could drill very nicely. Average power is only like 20mw.

Drill a hole with a laser

I bought a pulsed 1064nm from I think laser tree? On eBay for 400.00. Does like 10kw peak. Never tried making holes but it can certainly do so. No idea the beam size but it seems sub mm

Please help me build my own laser safety glasses

The only safe diy system is one where you use a camera and you’re in a different room. Yea don’t skimp on these especially if you play in the ir or uv region. It might look, dim but it’s not.

Using a microwave for metal vapor crystal deposition?

It’s not like your home oven. Google it there are hundreds of papers but what do you want to do and what materials what do you want to achieve and after assembil8ng everything and spending 1-2 years making it work can you just buy what you want finished? Oh and likely the chemicals you need...

    QuaLas arrays (numb12 modules)

Well I’m assembling a full set op opsl 2w modules with Saturn scanners rygb. This will be my last ever projector. If that’s not good enough it never will be. Just need to get a yellow. I see one on eBay for 8k….nope.

How do you guys feel about lasers being used for space communication?

And a higher bit rate due to the carrier frequency

How do you guys feel about lasers being used for space communication?

Well apparently it works since they got 14 million miles. Remember radio waves spread out too. Lasers spread slower.and from what I understand they can make the communication so only people in like a mile on the ground can receive the signal for security. They also encode the signal so they...

Using ND filter to dim a 60-70mw 488nm-492nm laser

I think you could do better with a pair of glass polarizers if the diodes are polarized. In the least they will be partially polarized so you can use a less extreme nd filter. Why not just turn the drive current down? you can also pass it through a microscope slide and beam block the...
