Yeah is too, there is nothing legal here, no BB guns, lasers, tazers, pocket knife, chemicals, acids, fireworks and much more..... Menly toy in genral. :(
but in a way it's good, coz its very safe here :)
People in Australia misunderstood the customs! ;) you could buy modules, but you can't buy a handheld laser. LOL
I need one to spot my FPV plane during night flying :P
Thanks for the link mate, yeah they are quiet deer to buy, I managed to find a 500mW module on eBay it's $500, so I was thinking if I make one it may be cheaper.
Hello every one, I done a bit of research on green lasers, but I couldn't really find useful information on how to make one. So I was just wondering is it cheaper to buy a 1-2W green laser or make one? handheld preferably.

To find the focal point, turn you're lens anti clockwise and keep on turning it till the spot gets bigger and the focal point will be close to the lens, then use some sort of...
1W+ green! interesting, good luck an I would love to see the finish product.
are you gonna make a custom host for it? Or use the ones that are already available?
I have a 70mW an the beam is fairly visible indoors, In day! with curtains opens. It also burns through black garbage bag in less than 5seconds. I think you got a bad one :(
I think it's you're charger, or you have fully drained the battery, which you shouldn't it reduces it's capacity and life. Most companies claim that there batteries won't be affected, but it's all lie! I have experienced it myself.
Get a voltmeter and measure the voltage output of you're...
well... if you have a strong enough green laser! :lasergun: i am talking around 200mW it could be slightly visible, that's if your concentrating to find the beam. and wicked at night!
my green laser is only 70mW and i can see the beam! quiet clearly indoors during the day with fair amount of...
