Thanks! i was having the same problem...but i got it working by unscrewing the plastic piece, i guess the culprit for making the switch not work just fell out. but thanks for letting us know!

Hey, sorry if this is off topic, but did you use GITD paint for that? it doesnt look like it..

depends on the host. could you post a picture? almost positive its the kinda that unscrews in the middle and has the words "laser pointer" with stars on the sides of the words, but just need to make sure. also, those kinds of hosts are infamously hard to take apart. Edit: oops, RA beat me to it.

I got confirmed like 3 or 4 days after i signed up. they sent an email saying ill get it on august 5th. i sent the story and kinda forgot about it. so i got a confirmation and was like - oh yeah! haha

Also, a classic trick is to put a magnifying glass in front of your camera, it lets you get fairly good macro shots. try that.:)

I have a crap digital camera that I sometimes use, but it has laser burns from various reflected beams. Haha but they are also black spots. Not bars.
