This or That - laser edition!

I love women... But the woman would be a one time thing. This just shows how dorky I really am...I'd take the 473:D 5.6mm 2W single mode 635nM diode? Or 5.6mm 200mW 589nM diode?

    Who Should I Order From?

Also, the Rayfoss laser is more expensive.. DJNY suggested O-like, and you decided Rayfoss. Then he mentioned a laser from them he was very happy with. (He has a review on it somewhere I think...) But you purchased the Rayfoss laser.. Would you mind explaining why you wanted to go with Rayfoss...

    Who Should I Order From?

Please go with o-like. Rayfoss's quality has dropped lately, for me at least. They sent me an FLX and on day two it started modehopping and dropping severely in power. Other people have had issues with Rayfoss as well. So you can cancel your order or not cancel, but just take my advice into...

A lot of things can be said of the Arctic...

    Is This setup ok

Not sure if anyone's said this yet, but if you go with a pen host, you also need 2 10440's. 2 AAAs will not work. Sorry if you already knew this, just thought I'd throw it out there...

Can anyone help me identify this diode?

Well, either I broke the window extracting it, or it doesnt have a window...I used my flashlight to check inside, and I didn't see any broken glass fragments...just the little wires connected to the die.

Can anyone help me identify this diode?

Hey guys, I had a computer to screw around with, so i decided to "recycle it" into a laser. My only problem is I cannot identify the diode...so I can't find the pinout or current to run it at. It has a really short can though...I got it from a DVD/CD ROM RW. And there were two diodes; one in a...

    First Laser Help

Definately not. At 200mW, you need a heatsink. Flaminpyro, jayrob, mohrenberg, and a few others are good to ask. Just PM one of them, they'll help you out.
